Google and AI crawl
Less than 2% of the Internet
Each Day
Even with the power of Google and modern AI, only a very small portion of the internet is actually searched each day. Google likely re-crawls well under 1% of all existing web pages daily, while large AI systems may process only around 0.01%–0.1% of the public web on an average day. Most systems focus on highly visible, heavily linked, and mainstream sources – leaving vast areas of the web fragmented, obscure, regional, private, or simply overlooked.
Orpheus was built to go far beyond the visible surface, continuously monitoring an expansive network of galleries, auction houses, estate channels, private catalogues, and hard-to-find sources to uncover exceptional art and collectible opportunities before they become widely discovered.
This includes sources that AI and search engines cannot access:
- Works submitted to Orpheus by owners who wish to sell privately
- Works offered by famous artists through Orpheus direct selling
- Works protected behind the authentication walls of galleries, private collections, and auction houses
- Our own propriety database
- A small team of professional sleuths
And much of this searching/finding goes on 24/7.
