ORPHEUS ALERTS comes from the perpetually creative mind of multiple-platform creator SCOTT WURTELE. Scott is always looking for ways to help people, and he has a unique history of putting people together.

In early ventures Scott paired people seeking justice with the lawyers who could help them; with a dive into innovation he gathered experts in diverse fields to come together and solve problems for corporations such a Proctor & Gamble, Syngenta, and Fujitsu.

More recent endeavours aided people with medical problems to find clinical trials offering potential new treatments. All his ventures come down to a deep drive that puts "you and you" together.

JANE MUNDY is the people-person liaising with our source partners. She has worked with Scott on many of his endeavours, and for more than 22 years, she continues to work with one of the companies he created.

Her career also includes travel writing for international magazines and newspapers, garnering a few writing awards along the way.

An ardent dog lover, Jane has been involved in rescuing and re-homing dogs from destitute situations, and writing about them.

But Jane's best attribute may be her enjoyment of people. She loves to meet and converse with people from all walks of life, offering a sparkling wit that quickly makes her friends with clients and business partners alike.

JONATHAN KNOPP has worked with Scott since he graduated from University with a BASc, Computer Engineering degree in 1998. A wizard at web development and programming, Jonathan has worked on all of Scott's websites when a new idea needs developing, and he still works on one of the sites Scott developed in the early 2000s.

His meticulous coding keeps the company running smoothly, very efficiently, and lightning fast. A perpetual learner, Jonathan excels at absorbing the latest skills needed in the incredibly fast-changing world of programming.

An expert skier, Jonathan volunteers as a mountain host in Whistler, BC, but his love of motorcycle racing gives us pause... we want him to stick around for many years yet!

WENDY WURTELE’s studies included basic coding, typography, and graphic design. She built a business that served a premier tourist-driven community, creating products that ranged from rack cards, to corporate identities, to a monthly newspaper.

From there, she and Scott partnered to build multiple online businesses, transforming concepts into platforms built to connect professionals with laypeople, doctors with patients, and scientists with innovators, as well as B2B portals.

Wendy’s skill in design, both in print and online, is the perfect foil to Scott’s creative thinking and indomitable spirit, a synergistic combination that has created some pretty interesting outcomes.
